My name is Mohanned Khallof. I am a certified and experienced Arabic translator with more than 6 years of proven experience.

I hold two academic degrees in English language and translation:

1.  Bachelor’s degree in English language and translation (2017) / Applied Science University / Amman, Jordan.
2. College diploma in English language and literature (2015) / Al-Khwarizmi College / Amman, Jordan.

Working languages:

1. Arabic (mother tongue) – Variants of Arabic: Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), Jordanian Arabic, Syrian Arabic, Palestinian Arabic and Lebanese Arabic.
2. English – full professional proficiency.

I am specialized in the following areas:

Legal, finance, e-commerce and internet, education, media, news articles, marketing, technical, literature, energy, health and science.

I own and use the following CAT tools to handle translation projects:

1. SDL Trados 2021.
2. MemoQ 9.8/2021.

I also own and use the following software to handle subtitling and transcription projects:

1. Wincaps Q4.
2. Screen Systems Poliscript.

Productivity / Availability:

• My average daily output of texts translation is 2000-2500 words, depending on the nature of the material.
• My average daily output of texts proofreading is 2500-3000 words, depending on the nature of the material.
• My average daily output of subtitling is 20-30 minutes, depending on the nature of the material.
• I am available for work full week, including weekends.
• I accept payments via PayPal and wire transfer.
• I am willing to take a short unpaid test upon request.
